We are proud to announce that our partners in the Cayman Islands, Paradise Luxury Homes and Encompass, won the prestigious “Best Single Residential Property in the World” award for their Cayman Kai, five-star, six-bedroom Sun Serenity accommodation. SouthWood took the design from Encompass, the international architect and developer, and manufactured and installed the signage on the property.
Property owners Paradise Luxury Homes, a privately held Cayman corporation, opened the waterfront villa in March 2017 as a luxury vacation home. Prices range from a low of $2,700 per night between April 9 and June 28, and a Christmas-New Year 2018 high of $3,999 per night.
Sun Serenity includes a 70-foot oceanfront swimming pool with a swim-up bar, and a $350,000 interior, which includes a sports bar with big-screen TV, a glass-topped illuminated bar, an entertainment deck with a sunken poolside summer kitchen, a third-story rooftop sunset terrace and a glass-walled dining area overlooking the beach and sea.
SouthWood enjoys working with architects on high-end properties to develop sophisticated signage to match the brand. It was an honor to provide signage for this property.
Brock is not only an integral part of the metal fabrication department building signs from raw aluminum, he’s transported SouthWood to the forefront of modern lighting in signs. He enjoys finding the most energy- and cost-efficient bulbs to use in lit signs. His favorite project he’s worked on in his five years at SouthWood is the Amber Cove sign in the Dominican Republic.
